What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are used to make sites work, to remember preferences, and to collect analytics about how a site is used.
Your choice comes first
Analytics cookies are not essential to running this website, so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations we do not set them unless you agree. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you are happy for us to use Google Analytics.
- If you accept, the Google Analytics script loads and sets the cookies listed below.
- If you reject, or simply ignore the banner, the Google Analytics script is never requested and none of those cookies are set. The site works exactly the same.
- If you accept and later change your mind, choose Cookie settings in the footer and select Reject. We will delete the analytics cookies already on your device.
Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, so declining genuinely stores nothing that identifies you.
Cookies we use if you accept
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors | 2 years |
| _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Maintains session state | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes users over 24 hours | 24 hours |
We ask Google to anonymise IP addresses. We do not use analytics data to identify individuals.
Strictly necessary cookies
This site does not need any. There is no login, no basket and no session to maintain, so there are no cookies you cannot refuse.
What this site does not use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site behavioural profiling
Third-party services
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, vehicle imagery from Imagin.studio, and a small prefetching script from instant.page. These receive your IP address as a necessary part of delivering content, but do not set tracking cookies through this site. Enquiry forms are handled by Web3Forms, which receives only what you type into the form when you submit it.
Managing cookies
The simplest route is Cookie settings in the footer of any page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings — doing so will not affect how this website functions. To opt out of Google Analytics across every site you visit, use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
