A 12 month van lease is a fixed one-year commercial vehicle agreement. We do not currently hold stock on a fixed 12 month van contract — our short-term van fleet runs on 6 month fixed terms or on rolling van subscriptions with no fixed end date. A 12 month term can still be quoted on request, and in practice a van subscription usually gives you a better outcome over a year: the monthly cost is comparable, maintenance is included, and you keep the option to hand the van back on 5 working days' notice instead of being tied to a twelve-month commitment. Everything we can supply is listed below.

If a twelve-month commitment is what you specifically need, ask us and we will quote it — it is arranged rather than held in stock, so lead times are longer than the 3 to 5 working days an in-stock van can be delivered in. If what you actually want is a van for about a year with the freedom to stop, a van subscription is almost always the better answer.

Monthly payment
Fixed for the whole term. Includes road tax, warranty and breakdown cover. Maintenance is optional rather than standard.
Initial payment
A larger first payment, quoted as a multiple of the monthly rental — rental paid up front, not a deposit.
Refundable deposit
May be required. Subject to status; the amount is set by the underwriters.
Delivery
In-stock vehicles in as little as 3–5 working days from signed order and payment.
Miles per month
Short-term agreements quote mileage monthly. Over 12 months, 1,500 miles a month gives you 18,000 miles.

For most businesses wanting a van for around a year, a van subscription is the better answer. The monthly cost is comparable to a fixed twelve-month contract, maintenance is included as standard, and you can return the van on 5 working days' notice rather than being committed for the full year — subject to availability and blackout periods. You can keep it until the van reaches three years old if it continues to suit you.

Because that is what we can actually supply on a fixed term. We would rather show you the real fleet with the real contract lengths on it than leave this page empty or list vehicles we cannot deliver. Each listing states its own contract length.

Road fund licence for the term, manufacturer warranty and breakdown assistance including commercial recovery. Maintenance is not included as standard on a fixed short-term lease — it is optional on the majority of agreements and your quotation states which. You arrange fully comprehensive insurance and fuel or electricity, plus any racking or signwriting.

Often, yes, subject to the vehicle still being available. Speak to us four to six weeks before the end date rather than in the final fortnight — that gives us room to extend or line up a replacement.
